Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and WedQR ("WedQR," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our website, web app, mobile app, or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1) Eligibility and Account Registration

• You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.
• Couples may create accounts to manage weddings, invitations, guest lists, QR codes, and subscriptions. Guests typically access the Service via invitation links or QR codes; guests do not need to purchase a subscription.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of information provided during signup and for safeguarding your login credentials.

2) Definitions

• "Couple" means the person(s) who create and manage a wedding space.
• "Guest" means an invited attendee who may create a guest profile for the directory and scan QR codes during the event.
• "Content" means information, images, text, media, and any other material uploaded or submitted to the Service.

3) Subscriptions, Pricing, and Taxes

• Couples may select a paid plan to unlock features as shown on the Pricing page. We may change plan features or pricing from time to time.
• Prices are displayed exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for applicable taxes.
• We use third-party processors (e.g., Stripe) to handle payments. By purchasing, you agree to their terms and privacy policies.

No Refunds — All Sales Final

All payments and fees are non‑refundable and non‑cancellable to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not provide refunds or credits, including for partially used subscription periods, event cancellations, or changes in your event plans. This no‑refund policy applies to all plans and add‑ons unless a refund is required by applicable law.

Auto‑Renewal and Cancellation

• If your plan auto‑renews, you can cancel renewal at any time before the next billing date. Cancellation prevents future charges; it does not result in a refund.
• Upon cancellation or plan expiration, access to paid features may end. We may retain minimal records as required by law.

4) Acceptable Use

• Do not upload unlawful, infringing, harmful, or abusive content. Respect venue rules and applicable laws.
• No attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the Service.
• Only upload content you own or have permission to use. You are solely responsible for your content.

5) Content Ownership and Licenses

• You retain ownership of your content. You grant WedQR a worldwide, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free license to host, store, reproduce, modify, and display your content solely to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
• You represent that your content does not violate any third‑party rights and that you have all necessary permissions.
• We may remove content that violates these Terms or the law.

6) Third‑Party Services

The Service integrates third‑party providers (e.g., payment processing, email/SMS delivery, maps/places, hosting/CDN, analytics). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third‑party services and disclaim liability arising from them.

7) Event Safety and QR Code Disclaimer

• The Service is for social introductions and event convenience only. It is not a safety device or identity verification tool.
• Couples are solely responsible for inviting appropriate guests and managing access to their event.
• Guests choose what to share in their profiles. WedQR does not guarantee the accuracy of any guest information.

8) Availability; Changes; Beta Features

• We strive for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, outages, or third‑party issues may occur.
• We may modify or discontinue features at any time. Material changes will be communicated in a reasonable manner.
• From time to time we may release beta or experimental features. They are provided "as is" and may be withdrawn at any time.

9) Warranty Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON‑INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR‑FREE, SECURE, OR UNINTERRUPTED.

10) Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL WEDQR OR ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR PARTNERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO WEDQR FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY OR (B) $100.

11) Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless WedQR and its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to (a) your content; (b) your breach of these Terms; (c) your use of the Service; or (d) your violation of any law or third‑party right.

12) Privacy

Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and share information. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described there.

13) Term; Termination

• You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required by law or security considerations.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive (e.g., ownership, payments, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity) will survive.

14) Governing Law; Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict‑of‑laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You and WedQR waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action. You may seek relief in small claims court if eligible. This section does not restrict either party's ability to seek injunctive relief for misuse of intellectual property or breach of confidentiality.

15) DMCA / Copyright Complaints

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, please email support@wedqrapp.com with: (a) a description of the work; (b) the URL of the allegedly infringing material; (c) your contact details; (d) a statement that you have a good‑faith belief the use is not authorized; and (e) your signature. We may remove content in our discretion and may terminate repeat infringers.

16) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective" date reflects the latest version. Material changes will be posted on this page and, when appropriate, notified through the Service. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
